That’s me in the formal attire. i am mr. no smile. I was told to look at the birdie. I wanted to know why.
i worked as a carpenter’s apprentice through high school and part of college. i took a medical license to drive an ambulance so i would know what to do when my parents needed help.
i rescued a thousand patients from death just to learn. My parents rescued me when I was born and i almost didn’t make it.
but when their last days came i fought god himself to keep them here. i lost that battle.
one way or other my parents are my campaign managers.
I learned government from mom. we went door to door when i was little. i said “I’m voting for j.f.k. how about you?” we had free cookies from almost every door for lunch. She made friends for life that way. and america made friends with the world forever when President kennedy won.
proof of that lasting impression on the world was the speech given by the new leader of hungary in April last year when he said he won that election because voters asked what they could do for their country, and not what their country could do for them.
I am the son of a thousand years of farmers and priests.
Father immigrated from germany by joining the u.s. army after WWII. one day when I was little we were all watching World At War by Time-life and a film crew showed the Soviets rolling into Berlin in tanks. My father told the family he remembered that day, and that street corner that was on the film, talking to his friend about becoming a mechanic for somebody’s tanks. A second later he screamed. Dad was in the film itself, talking with his friend. That day was a day of liberty for Germany and is part of my heritage. Some day I will get that film.
mother came from croatia before the war. Her uncle, a physics teacher from austria was paid well by an American inventor and got the boat tickets for the whole family. After college she sang backup for the perry como radio hour in Pittsburgh.
Dad was so taken by my mother’s song in a church dinner in chicago, that he married her.
presidential punishment in a civil war
I learned from all this that the The balance of caring and control in the government is never really reached. The means are never quite right. But the dream always is. let’s ride.
it may appear that judges backed-off from sentencing Mr. Trump to jail for his criminal convictions after he won the 2024 election, as an act of corruption to favor the one who won. the reality is different. corruption, yes. But a corruption they don’t want you to know.
They did not sentence him, because the president has the power to pardon anyone of any crime. He would have gone to jail in the morning, and pardoned himself by lunch. No way. They want to wait until he is done in the white house and then he will go to jail for a long time. That is the plan. don’t tell the king of the potomac i told you. it is a midnight surprise.
I say these outrageous things to suggest i might be qualified for this job because maybe i know government. You decide if I do.
i looked for corruption as a student Reporter for the Harvard crimson Newspaper, studied foreign policy under stanley hoffmann in the government department, and took a bachelor’s and a law degree from oxford university. i am an expert at nothing, a master of maybe.
the senior executive service
and i learned in counter-intelligence to question authority and the fake news that protects it. the fake news is usually ours. in the army some called me vexatious. judges still do. I retired two senior commanders for fraud. i really am a rogue warrior. I know how to get into trouble in 6 languages. but i do not know how to get out of trouble in any of them.
so i recognize we are all getting into trouble. I see a holocaust coming. I intend to stop it. I mean the deaths of millions of Americans losing Medicare and social security.
But the means we use to correct the problems must not be the same as the means we used to create the problems (Albert Einstein). That is why I want to gerrymander the districts all over wisconsin in the first year of my election, if I win. We got into a paralysis of sorts in Wisconsin because of our bad districts. We cannot get out of the paralysis until we change the districts first.
i was an intern everywhere, for senator kennedy, the white house, federal courts, like a fly on every wall, a quiet lower ranking officer in the pentagon, and a stock broker for merrill lynch. i watched. i failed many times. but i learned.
Working for nothing in the government as an idiot (who else would be so stupid to work for free?) is the best training any government student can get because it opens all doors and closes all fears of failure since no one can lose a job who does not have a job.
Turf wars are intense in the white house. no paid worker dares to poke his head into any other office to say hello for fear of being accused of spying for someone else’s job. But when an intern pokes his head, it is invited everywhere because free help is always welcome.
I passed thousands of secret messages between White House staffers and agency heads in my White House time that allowed me to learn what every person does in every u.s. agency. i can put humpty dumpty back together again. the experts in their fields cannot. they never learned what all the other offices do. except the senior executive service. they are the best of the best. they know everything.
while in the office of public liaison for midge costanza, and as fly on the wall under another senior aide, alice rivlin in the white house oMB, president carter ordered a direct commission in intelligence and special operations for me and I commanded a special forces training detachment (The Green Berets). Nothing loud and fancy. But an explosion near my head ruined my hearing and flight status and my duty was refocused only to intelligence, identifying weak nations for our help or take-over. And we can even now give ukraine all it wants with NATO membership without killing anyone. we just change NATO and make russia a member. none of The killing is necessary.
